This Thursday is our monthly show for RAW: Orange County, an event to showcase local talent in the areas of art, music, photography, film, fashion, hair, and makeup. It’s going to be a special show for us because our Art Director, 12FV, is showcasing his art at RAW for the first time. The past couple shows have been super successful, providing a great outlet for these local artists to put their work on display. If you are in the OC area, come to Club 8Eighty8 in Newport at 8pm on Thursday for drinks, great people, and some talented artists!
This past Thursday was our second installation of RAW Orange County, a collection of artists from all different genres, coming together to celebrate their passion for art. Once a month, RAW brings together painters, photographers, fashion/hair/makeup designers, musicians, and many more to showcase their work. Held at 8Eighty8 Night Club in Newport Beach, RAW OC has been an avenue for all these up and coming artists, and we are very happy to be a part of the show. As the resident hosts and DJs, we get to see some amazing work first hand, while providing good tunes for the gallery goers. Here are some recap pictures and videos from this month’s show!
RAW brings out some of the best Fashion/Hair/Makeup artists from around Orange County to showcase their work. This installment featured a very special Hair show by Abigail Nuezca and Fashion show by Virginia Ginger Ying. It’s always a pleasure providing music for these shows, and we wish the best of luck to these artists!

Last week we were fortunate enough to spin for the 2011 Orange County Season Premiere of “Catalyst”, presented by RAW: Natural Born Artists. RAW brings together a collection of some of the most amazing artists in various cities all over the nation. There were artists, photographers, filmmakers, fashion designers, hair & makeup stylists, models, and musicians. As the DJs and Hosts for this upcoming season, we are very excited to be a part of this amazing movement of people coming together to celebrate art in all forms!
Thank you to the artists, models, RAW staff, and everyone who came out to support. It truly was inspiring working with such passionate people. The next event is March 24, we hope to see you then!
