this was a 40 min mix that mehdi put together in tribute to j dilla, inspired by dilla’s donuts record following his passing. sadly now, 5 years later, music has lost mehdi himself. hopefully one day someone can do a proper tribute to mehdi as mehdi had done for dilla. two production greats, r.i.p.
wherever you guys are, i’m sure you’re both hanging out together, making some crazy, wicked beats.
